Mark V. Diebold joined Independence Commercial Advisors in 2020 and focuses his practice on providing advisory and brokerage services for both multifamily and self-storage investments.
Mark has been an active investment professional in Central Texas since 2012, beginning his commercial real estate career with Marcus & Millichap’s National Multi-Housing Group in Austin, Texas. Since then, he has developed his expertise to encompass San Antonio and multiple other central Texas markets and expanded his advisory services to include proficiency in self-storage investments. Most recently, Mark was a Director with San Antonio Commercial Advisors.
Prior to Marcus & Millichap, Mark enjoyed a 20-year career with business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketing firms nationwide. He has managed multi-million-dollar national marketing campaigns for a multitude of Fortune 500 clients and has directed the efforts of as many as 2,300 individuals on a single program. Mark’s successful track record includes award-winning national tours, nationwide campaign conceptualization, activation, and management. Mark began investing in multifamily assets in 1992 and completed successful acquisitions in Texas, Illinois, Missouri, North Carolina, and New Jersey. His own growing passion for investment real estate and the opportunity to help others succeed ultimately drove him to leave his corporate marketing position and pursue his career in investment real estate brokerage.
